Ascende Care homes are ordinary houses in established residential areas, caring for a small number of children so that each young person receives the attention, routine and relationships they need to settle and progress.
Daily life is built around consistency: shared meals, school routines, activities and time together. Our homes are staffed around the clock by a qualified, vetted team who know each child well.
Predictable daily rhythms that help children feel safe, settled and in control.
Hobbies, sport and new experiences that build confidence and broaden horizons.
A strong focus on attendance, engagement and progress at school or college.
Attachment- and trauma-informed support integrated into everyday care.
Good nutrition, sleep, exercise and access to the health services each child needs.
Maintaining family and community links where it is safe and in the child's interests.
We support children and young people aged 8 to 18 who need a stable, nurturing home. Many have experienced trauma, loss or disrupted placements and need a calm environment and skilled support to make progress.
We work closely with placing authorities to ensure each child is well matched to the home and to the other young people living there, with a clear plan from day one.
