The name Ascende is Latin for to rise — and that is our purpose: to help children and young people rise to their potential, whatever their starting point.
We provide residential care for children aged 8 to 18 in small homes set in established Cambridgeshire communities. Our model is individual: care is tailored to each child, designed to nurture them, build confidence and prepare them — through education and a career pathway — for independent adult life.
We work in partnership with placing local authorities, social workers and families to deliver care that is safe, consistent and accountable.
Care, therapy and futures are planned together around each child, delivered through three connected divisions.
24-hour residential care for children aged 8 to 18 in small, homely settings across Cambridgeshire.

Education, work experience and independence skills that prepare young people for life beyond care.
Ascende is led by directors whose professional backgrounds align with the things that matter most to a child — a safe home, good health, and sound therapeutic practice.
