About Ascende

Director-led care, built on the right expertise

Ascende Group is a children's residential care provider in Cambridgeshire, combining nurturing care with therapeutic support and a clear focus on each young person's future.

Who we are

The name Ascende is Latin for to rise — and that is our purpose: to help children and young people rise to their potential, whatever their starting point.

We provide residential care for children aged 8 to 18 in small homes set in established Cambridgeshire communities. Our model is individual: care is tailored to each child, designed to nurture them, build confidence and prepare them — through education and a career pathway — for independent adult life.

We work in partnership with placing local authorities, social workers and families to deliver care that is safe, consistent and accountable.

How we're organised

One group, three integrated services

Care, therapy and futures are planned together around each child, delivered through three connected divisions.
